Mr. Henderson replied (The quantities were given by Mr.
Henderson in his comparative statement referred to by the
Chairman at the commencement of the meeting i.c. 1928, 1.2
Million gallons + 2.12 and 1929 .82 + 2.12).
r. Hynes considered that if sufficient water can be
obtained by proceeding with the Shing un Schale it would be
desirable to do so and delay the Aberdeen Schone unil the former is completed, and he again referred to further developing the catchwators on the Island.
After some further discussion, it remained the unanimous
opinion of the Unofficial Members of the Jomitteo that it
wag most desirable that the 1st and 2nd Sections of the
3hing un Scheme be procceded with instead of the Aberdeen
Scheie. It was also recommended that the catchwaters referr-
ed to in . Henderson's report dated 20th February, 1928,
bo developed.
